NC Comicon is back in the Bull City from November 9-11, and we couldn’t be more excited! Have you ever wanted to dress up in spandex to save the city, or find out what inspired the story about your favorite superheroes? Now is your chance! 

Founded in 2010, by comics retailer and entrepreneur AlanGill and comic book and film creator Tommy Lee Edwards, the weekend-long pop-culturecelebration is so much more than just a casual perusal through collectiblecomics and toys. The Durham Convention Center will host one-on-one workshopsand panels by industry professionals and local talent alike, such as science panelsbreaking down the physics of superpowers, talks about the history of hip-hop incomics, costume making, cosplay, dance parties, contests, movies and more!

ComicQuest Film Festival offers a rotating schedule of classic movies such as Gremlins 2, Mallrats, Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer, and much more!

Guardians of theGala is the greatest party in the multiverse! Saturday, November 10th, starting at 8:00 PM enjoy a night of circus performances and DJ FiFi Hi-Fi’s “Dance Your Butt Completely Off” Party.

Cosplay Kingdom is a city built on props and clothes from your favorite comics,movies, and more! Bring your A-Game and enter the legendary NCC Cosplay Contest in historic Fletcher Hall in the Carolina Theater to win CASH PRIZES and Ultimate Comics Prize Packs.
