Dinner to Benefit No Kid Hungry

April 18, 2019 @ 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Counting House NC

Join us for a special multi-course dinner with Host Chef Thomas Card in support of No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger. One in six kids in America struggles with hunger, but you can make a difference by joining us on April 18. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception, multi-course seated dinner, and silent auction. Price is $60 per person and proceeds from the dinner will go to No Kid Hungry.

Pony Run!

Join the good people of Fleet Feet at Ponysaurus for our two favorite things….Running and Beer! Every Thursday join a 3-mile route or 5-mile route. Our Durham neighbors and friends experienced a tragedy on April 10 when a gas explosion killed Kong Lee, owner of Kaffeinate, injured many others and severely damaged several businesses in the area. With love and hope in our hearts, let us come together to raise money through Bull City Rebuilds, go fund me 100% of the proceeds of this event goes to this cause. Suggested Donation is $20 or whatever amount you’re able to give. Displaced workers from the Brightleaf area restaurants will be working this event as an additional source of income – please bring cash to tip if you would like to personally help them out! Local Food Trucks will be outside and donating a portion of their profits.

You Can’t Spell BEERS without BEES

To celebrate this year’s Earth Day theme of ‘Protect our Species,’ we’re throwing an all-out bee-fest with honey beer, bee-related vendors & non-profits…and a spelling bee with a twist. We’ll have ten competitors onstage spelling for the bees at 3pm. If a contestant spells a word incorrectly, audience members can buy them extra lives starting at $25 and increasing in increments of $25 for each subsequent life. All contest proceeds will go to Keep Durham Beautiful’s Pollinator Project, so we’re looking for contestants who aren’t just brainy, but also interested in raising money to support this cause.
