Durham Community Healing & Yoga Fundraiser

April 26, 2019 @ 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Durham Central Park

My name is Stephanie Stefanski and I am a Ph.D. in environmental economics at Duke University. I have called Durham my home during the last five years. In the last year of my PhD, I regularly visited Kaffeinate to write my dissertation, prepare for job interviews, and meet with student teams. Like so many others, I was heartbroken by this week’s disaster and the loss of Mr. Lee. I believe strongly in the power of bringing people together in the face of tragedy. I hope you all will join me for an evening of mindful movement & reflection as we move forward together to heal our Durham community. Our yoga instructors will be leading an easy yoga flow, focused on shared breath and movement. All levels are welcome! The space will open at 6pm to begin collecting donations and organizing everyone. The practice will begin shortly after 6:30pm and last about 45 minutes. Please bring your own mat – and one to share if you have an extra. We are collecting suggested donations of $10 per person.
