The Shop Durham Card
With a Shop Durham card, you get rewards from over 170 independent, Durham-owned businesses — small gifts or discounts — plus, you keep dollars in Durham by supporting local businesses and the community.
Get a free churro with a drink purchase at Cocoa Cinnamon, 50% off tours at Durham Distillery, a free cup of coffee at Durham Co-Op Market, 10% off at Kaffeinate every visit, and many more.
You can even use our free “Best of the Bull” app to find participating businesses closest to you, save favorites, discover new spots, and more.
Why Support Local?
It’s estimated that up to three times more of the money spent at a local, independently owned business stays in the community.
These local business owners are our neighbors, friends, and family. Your cup of coffee or that unique gift for a friend goes towards paying for a roof over their heads, food on the table, or even their daughter’s dance lessons.
Plus, those purchases support these amazing people who take a risk to make their community a better place.
Even a small shift in our spending habits can make a huge difference to these businesses.

The Artwork
We are so excited and honored that Papermill Creative created the incredible artwork for the 2019 card. It features several shopping districts and businesses across Durham, including Brightleaf Square, Downtown, Kaffeinate, Dolly’s, Bungalow, Unscripted, and Cocoa Cinnamon.
You can find their art online and at local markets. They feature towns around North Carolina in their work and there’s an amazing Durham print you have to get!
