September 5, 2018 (Durham, N.C.) – Through a new special offer called DPAC for All, DPAC has reserved $20 seats exclusively for residents of Durham for many of the venue’s performances this season.

“We are honored to have been part of Durham’s great community over the past decade,” DPAC General Manager Bob Klaus said. “As a way to show our appreciation, we wanted to offer Durham residents an exclusive opportunity to experience one of the nation’s top theatre experiences at a discounted price.”

DPAC for Alltickets are already on sale for Elf the Broadway MusicalRock of Ages, and Tap Dogs; more show offerings will be announced in the coming months.  The following SunTrust Broadway at DPAC shows also will be included in DPAC for All: Fiddler on the Roof, Miss Saigon, Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Dear Evan Hansen, Anastasia, “Hello, Dolly!” and Cats.

Although Hamilton will not be included in DPAC for All, DPAC will hold a lottery for forty (40) $10 seats, with no added ticket fees, for all performances of Hamilton.  Details will be announced at a later date, so for the most accurate updates, fans should ​sign up for DPAC’s email list or follow DPAC on FacebookTwitter, and Instagram and download the official HAMILTON app on their phones for more  information.

DPAC for All tickets must be purchased in person at the Blue Cross of Blue Shield of North Carolina Ticket Center at DPAC, located at 123 Vivian Street.  The ticket center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturdays.  Durham residents will need to ask for DPAC for All tickets to buy the $20 seats (plus tax). Tickets will be available until one month before each event, while supplies last.

“We hope this will allow many in Durham to experience their first Broadway musical,” said Rachel Traversari, DPAC’s Senior Director of Marketing.  “These shows are the biggest Broadway shows on tour and this is an amazing opportunity for residents.”
