19th Annual American Tobacco Tower Lighting

Join us as we celebrate the season with the lighting of the iconic American Tobacco Water Tower on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 7:00-8:00 pm in the American Tobacco Amphitheater.

FREE and open to the public.

Come early to shop and dine before the celebration begins. We’ll also have 2,000 light wands to distribute courtesy of our friends at Dominion Energy and NC 811.

This year’s show is packed full of some of the best young talents in Durham and the Triangle! The Tower will be lit early and be illuminated for the entire show.

Can’t join us in person? Capitol Broadcasting Company (CBC), WRAL-TV, American Tobacco Campus, and Rocky Mount Mills, will once again celebrate the 2023 holiday season by lighting the towers at all THREE locations in one very special TV event.
