Oak City Fish and Chips to Offer Fan Favorites June 3-27
(Durham, N.C.) – May 31, 2019 – Oak City Fish and Chips, a popular staple on the Triangle food circuit will open their third brick and mortar restaurant and first in Durham at the PopUp @ American Tobacco space, June 3-27.
Oak City Fish and Chips serves their own special take on traditional British fish and chips. Their seafood is seasoned with two of their own secret spice blends. Instead of a wet batter and cod, expect whiting and a light, dry batter. Other selections include shrimp, lobster, calamari, oysters, scallops and brown sugar hushpuppies.
“The PopUp space has become a great jumping off point for any restauranteur or small business looking to break into the Bull City market,” says Isaac B. Horton IV, co-owner, Oak City Fish and Chips. “We’re excited to be in the heart of so many of the city’s attractions and to serve our Durham customers on their home turf.”
The PopUp@ATC is located next to the Bullpen, adjacent to Bull City Mini – a community-designed mini golf course that will offer beer and wine. Each hole in the course is inspired by Durham and is designed by people that know Durham best – its people.
