Kooky (but not so spooky) activities for all to enjoy, from close encounters in the Insectarium to getting lost in our Halloween storytime. Get here early to take advantage of the Teal Pumpkin treat stations (while supplies last!). Costumes encouraged for all guests.
Halloween Party at The Jug

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. Order a beer and get a free candy to go with it. It’s like trick-or-treating, but for adults…and with beer!
They will be screening four Halloween movies throughout the evening. There will be a different movie showing in the bar and in the Atrium at 6:00 PM and at 8:00 PM. The 6:00 showings will be family friendly, and the 8:00 showings will be for adults.
Trick-Or-Treat on 9TH Street

Come Trick-or-Treat on 9th Street! The Regulator Bookshop will join fellow Ninth Street merchants in welcoming Halloween trick or treaters on Thursday, Oct. 31 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Stop by The Regulator to trick-or-treat starting and then head down the street to Elmo’s Diner for the Halloween Costume Contest that starts at 5:00 p.m.

Museum of the Moon
October 31, 2019 @ 6:00 pm to 10:00 am at CCB Plaza
Cost: Free
For the first time in North Carolina, a giant breathtaking spherical replica of the moon – with a diameter of nearly 23 feet – will hang above Bull City as part of a free community experience. The mesmerizing, internally lit sculpture will be suspended over CCB Plaza in downtown and open to the public for four days over Halloween weekend, supported by free events and fundraising components giving back to the community.
Annual Halloween Costume Party at Growler Grlz

Latte Art Spooktacular at Joe Van Gogh

All Hallows’ Eve at Duke Chapel

The Chapel’s candlelit All Hallows’ Eve service takes place on the eve of All Saints’ Day, the festival in the Church that recalls the faith and witness of those who have carried on and cherished the Christian faith throughout history. The service celebrates the Church’s continuing communion with these men and women and memorializes the recently deceased.
Free parking for the event is available in the Bryan Center Parking Lot at 125 Science Drive. ADA parking is available in the Bryan Center Surface Lot at the same address.
